Installing Nextiva VOIP is easy and takes only a few minutes and very few technical skills. New users can choose to either keep an existing phone number or choose a new one (toll free or local) and can decide whether to use existing office phones, cell phones or Softphones, or integrate the service into an existing hardware-based PBX system. If you are intending to keep using existing phones you may need to install a VOIP adapter (as with all VOIP-based services), which is provided free of charge to new Nextiva VOIP customers. Indeed, the whole installation procedure is free of charge, with no service charges or set up fees to be found anywhere throughout the process.
As with other services we have reviewed in this category, Nextiva VOIP provides its users with a wide range of excellent features that help improve the overall user experience. Many of these features and functions are included in all packages, such as Call Forwarding, voicemail, advanced call routing, call logs, free greeting recording, dial-by-name directories and more, meaning there’s no extra charge for using them. Other functions, such as Call Waiting, call recording, call queuing and other advanced features are available as ‘add ons’ for an additional fee. The range of features are spread across two calling packages, Office Pro (available from $24.95 per month) and Enterprise Pro (available from $34.95 per month), meaning customers are able to decide which features they need the most and choose the most appropriate package for them.
All in all, Nextiva VOIP provides users with almost all of the tools they will need to manage an efficient and user-friendly phone system at the lowest possible cost.
